Sharp-Eye LR20
Long-Range EO/IR Surveillance System with Target Geo-Location Capability)
SharpEye-LR20 is specially designed for 24 hours Observation system. The roof coverts the system against rain, fog and sunshine is situated above the electro optical head. The cooled MWIR camera, HD CMOS camera and laser rangefinder are bore sighted together. The system is highly rugged and sealed against, sea, rain, sand, dust, and corrosion. It is able to operate in huge range of temperature from -32°C to +65°C. Optionally SharpEye-LR 20 should be equipped by two-axis pan tilt platform to be used for various mission, i.e. Air Taffic Control System, Border Control, Search & Rescue etc. This option with DMC and GPS, will be overlapped area Map information with Picture.
Pan tilt mechanism Platform
The two-axis Pan/Tilt consists of a positioning mechanism in basic mechanical arrangement of the carrier in “T“ shape and electronic equipment.
Rotational movements in both horizontal and vertical planes are carried out through two alternating servo drives. The electronic equipment of the Pan/Tilt allows its control from the control system by means of commands transmitted through Ethernet commands via TCP/IP protocol. A set of commands allows control of servo drives, control of sensorial systems as well as control of user outputs and processing of user inputs.
HD Visible camera
HD Visible camera is high sensitive colour camera with high 60x optical zoom lens with a wide / telephoto horizontal field of view. It is equipped by 2x extender that provides observation for very long distances.
It is equipped by 1/3” Colour CMOS. For optimized sensitivity in both day and night-time shooting applications, these cameras incorporate an Auto ICR function. In addition, HD Visible camera is equipped with a variety of convenient functions such as Auto Focus, Back Light Compensation, Auto Iris, Automatic Gain Control, Video Motion Detection etc. The camera body is highly ruggedized, able to work in huge range of temperature and in every weather condition.
Cooled MW Thermal camera
The cooled MW Thermal camera is equipped with a highly reliable, Middle-Wave, MCT MW detector which offers
middle range detection in all weather conditions. The cooled MWIR cameras offer a continuous zoom. This offers
excellent situational awareness while also giving the possibility to zoom in at suspect activities, and have a closer look,
once they are detected.
Laser Ranger Finder
Laser Rangefinder is an eye safe modular laser rangefinder specially developed for vehicle′s observation systems and fair
system control systems. Depending on weather conditions, target characteristic, range finding from 80m to more than 20
km. The measuring accuracy is +1m.
Compass Unit
The Digital Magnetic Compass – DMC is used like north sensor. DMC is a solid state sensor module providing azimuth and elevation angles.
GPS unit
Global Positioning System – GPS is included in the system in a form of printed board receiver module. It is designed with sophisticated satellite technology to locate and truck any location in real time. The process results are visible on a display of computer in the operator’s place. The antenna of the GPS is situated on a vehicle roof.
